FABRIC: 100% cotton
For wholecloth quilt—approximately 24” x 24” to 36” x 36” enough for a small wall quilt: the top, batting & backing should be the same size
top= any solid color light to medium tone
backing= solid in light color
batting= Quilter’s Dream Cotton Request loft, or your favored batting
For pieced top—approximately 36” x 36” You will be working without a pattern, and this is a guide for your traveling stash. Bring a mix of mostly solids, darks to lights (different shades of the same color add depth) with print or batik for accent in a palette you nd appealing. 1/2 yard pieces and/or a few fat quarters give you some larger pieces to work with & strips in several colors in 2 1/2”, 4” to 6” widths
ROUND QUILTING HOOP: 14”, 16” or 18” as you prefer. The quilting hoop is more study than an embroidery hoop.
Quilting Betweens= 1 package assorted size, or your preferred size
Basting needles= 1 package (I will have extra if it is hard for you to nd these)
100% cotton quilting thread 3 spools- 1 neutral color, 1 color to coordinate with the top, 1 accent color
Basting thread, or other neutral shade cotton thread 1 spool
optional- other thread: yarn, linen, pearl cotton, variegated thread, embroidery needles, beads, etc. machine sewing thread, neutral color

OTHER SUPPLIES: scissors, rotary cutter, mat, ruler, extra sewing machine needles, pins optional: annel or batting for use on the design wall recommended: Needle Grip-Its adhesive dots for nger to reduce strain-marketed by Colonial Needle Company
